The hotel is excellent value with best employees who provided a free public transport card-on request. The room is well decorated with remarkable views of the town. Convenient and the best location, a bus stop is close to the venue.

Clean and spacious. Good heating. Well equipped and clean bathroom. The situation is excellent. Clean and big room. Good heating system. Nice and well equippated toilet. Very good situation.
staff was nice enough. We weren't at the main hotel, in an apartment in a building across the street. bothered me because it wasn't as nice as being in the hotel, floor was a bit dreary, with locked doors that you don't know where they were going. If the noises bother you at night, make sure they give you an interior room (if there is one) because we had to deal with a party that had been set up on the street at 10pm. receptionist didn't know how to explain what it was or what had happened. windows are not soundproofed to avoid this noise (it would be logical, not that the receptionist would answer: ah, is normal in the center of Locarno on a Thursday night, as they did). staff was not super friendly, looking irritated always after the first question. We were not in the main building but in a zero charming appartment in a building in front of the hotel. bit souless. Bad insonorisation of windows, we had to deal with the very noisy street until quite late in the night. Answer from the staff: this is a normal night in the center of Locarno ¿? ¿

The room was pretty basic. I had a single room with a detached bathroom, a bit inconvenient. The bed wasn't super comfy, and I missed having air conditioning. On the upside, the room was clean, and the staff was really accommodating, even letting me check in early. But yeah, it could definitely use some updates.

Quiet (for city location) traditional hotel. Well placed on Piazza Grande. Ask for cheap car parking nearby.

The experienced staff successfully struggled to run the hotel in an orderly way in spite of the guests. Internet accesss is unfortunately not available in the rooms but can be accessed just in front of the desk, in the bar (when it is open) and in the square not far from the hotel (whatever the weather).
Checking out was evidently attended to assiduously as three staff had extensive discussions together before turning to those wishing to depart.

The evening live music in the square provided a lively backdrop, while the charming antique decor in the hotel added to its warmth. However, noisy parties outside disrupted our sleep.

The location of the hotel is brilliant. Right in the town centre. A basic, clean double room and very cheap by Swiss standards. They also have a good restaurant downstairs which makes fabulous wood fired oven pizza.

Its position, very central and the breakfast room/restaurant. It is an old mediaval room, very beautiful.

I stayed for two nights in a Double Room while exploring the beautiful city. The location was right at the heart of everything. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast options, which offered fresh pastries and juices to start the day. The room was quite hot without air conditioning and this, along with some noise from the street, made it a bit uncomfortable at times.

Hotel locates right on the side of the central square. Good restaurant downstairs. Difficult access by car. Park first at central parking, then walk to the hotel (150m). When you check out you can ask for the parking coupon (7 chf per day).

I enjoyed the charming antique dining room where breakfast was served. The location was very accessible.
More soundproofing would enhance the stay.

Huge and comfortable room, nice restaurant, kind staff. Located in center of the city and very close to a big parking (7CHF per day)
Room furniture was so old fashioned (~ 1970!) (but in a very good condition) and the TV was so small compared to the size of the room. Hallways and reception look much better compared to the room.

It is a very clean hotel, and has an excellent location in the old town of Locarno. The breakfast is a decent one.
Poor isloated walls so you feel the footsteps in the corridor and there was a baby crying in one of the rooms and woke me up at 5 am. The room is very small and the bed is so tiny and no power supply in the bathroom.
